Not sure what to wear? I can help!

I’ve gotta tell you, my absolute favourite thing about working in Vivienne Cate is the opportunity it gives me to help other women find the outfits that really suit them – with both body shape and personality in mind!

Of course, I love every piece of clothing in here. I source only those clothes I’d love to wear myself. I’m into natural fibres and excellent quality in both the fabric and the worksmanship in a garment. I also enjoy working with other women in business. Some of my favourite labels include Lilly Pilly, Frockk, Meg By Design and Muse – all Australian women doing amazing things with linen!

I prefer understated or minimal pattern and earthy colours. Our range is not simply ‘on trend this season’ but classic, and therefore a more deliberately ethical choice, sure to stand the test of time.

With this in mind, I wanted to offer my services out of normal shop hours. This allows me to focus solely on you or your small group of friends, without the distraction of other shoppers. There is no extra cost to you and no obligation to buy.

While I don’t mind at all if you want to come in on your own, I encourage you to book in with at least one other friend so you feel like you are getting totally unbiased feedback!

“I had an upcoming photoshoot and I was panicked about what to wear! Karen found me a dress that, honestly, was louder than my comfort zone. But at her recommendation I tried it on and the dress LOOKED AMAZING! I got tons of compliments and felt really great for the shoot. Without her eye, I would’ve gone for something safe and unremarkable and wallflower-ish no doubt, so I’m very grateful for her exceptional design eye and taste!”
